City halls and libraries in the area are closed for a few days in recognition of the Christmas holiday. Washington City Hall and other city offices will be closed today and tomorrow for the holiday. As will Kalona City Hall. The libraries in Washington, Kalona, and Keota will open back up Thursday. The Conservation Education Center at Marr Park will also be closed until Thursday, and will also be closed New Year’s Day.
