The Washington Demon boys open up their season tonight at home against Pella Christian.

The Demons scored big in their full game scrimmage against WACO last week, but Pella Christian is a different team.

The Demons will look to their seniors to lead the way tonight, and will look for the teams true scorer to replace their top two scorers Kyle Roder and Justin Hoffman, and their third top scorer who is injured in Alex Coker.

Washington will open up play tonight against a 2A team, before traveling for the first time to Muscatine on Monday for a game against a 4A team.

Pella Christian is 1-0 this season, beating West Marshall, State Center 52-50.

They are led in points by Nate Haveman with 16 points and is followed by Sebastian Baugh with 10.

Tonight’s game is at Washington with a 5 PM start time.
