Five people were arrested in Henry County following a joint narcotics investigation with the Mt. Pleasant Police Department and New London Police Department on December 5th. A search warrant conducted in New London resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Mark Glaha, who was charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony; he could face up to 25 years in prison.

A second search in New London, resulted in the arrests of 32-year-old Jeremy Allen and 36-year-old Jolynn Allen; both were charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of meth and child endangerment – if convicted they could each face up to 30 years in prison.

A third search in Mediapolis resulted in the arrests of 30-year-old Greg Baxter Jr. and 25-year-old Morgan Ledbetter. Baxter is charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of meth, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, child endangerment, and drug tax stamps for meth and marijuana; he could face up to 45 years in prison. Ledbetter was charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of meth, child endangerment and drug tax stamp for large amounts of marijuana. Ledbetter could face up to 35 years in prison.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol Tactical Unit assisted with the execution of the search warrants.
