Due to recent increases in activity from the east region of the state, Iowa’s flu activity has been upgraded from sporadic to local, according to the Iowa Influenza Surveillance Network. The State Hygenic Lab confirmed 32 cases of seasonal influenza for this reporting period and 101 cases of influenza so far this season.
