Year-long garbage stickers for residents of the City of Washington are available for purchase. The year stickers cost $85. City Clerk Illa Earnest states that the stickers are pro-rated for each month that passes. She adds sell quite a few as gifts for those that are hard to shop for. The stickers can be purchased at City Hall.
Also, garbage pick up next week will be altered for the holiday. Garbage that is normally picked up on Wednesday will be picked up Thursday and Thursday services will remain the same.
