The Highland girl’s have shined this year, despite a couple of losses.

The Huskies went 5-2 in the first half of the season, losing a game against IMS and WMU, but can cause a stir in the standings coming back from the break.

Highland will take on Pekin who is in second place with WMU to start the second half of the season. The Huskies will then host the ever tough Mediapolis on January 7th.

After that the Huskies have a few games that will be a little easier against 0-7 West Burlington and 2-5 Lone Tree, before playing Wapello and a rematch with IMS on January 14th.

Despite two losses, the Huskies have outscore their opponents by 103 points on the season and average 14.7 more points per game.

Highland will play Pekin on Saturday.
