The Washington Public Library is gearing up for the holidays with some seasonal programming. Director of the library, Debbie Stanton, is reminding families that Hugo Kringle, Santa’s little brother, will be visiting next weekend. It will be an evening of stories and songs Friday at 6 p.m. Stanton adds that the event is free and open to anyone in the community.

Also, today there is a holiday craft program, she explains that they will be recycling old books and making Christmas decorations from them. The program is for all ages and will begin at 1 p.m. today.
