The Mid-Prairie School Board has narrowed down the projects they want included in a spring bond issue. On Monday, board members decided on $9 million worth of projects they’d like to see accomplished.

Superintendent Mark Schneider says that includes a geothermal system at the Middle School and air-conditioning at Washington Township Elementary. A combined central office and alternative learning center and Early Childhood classrooms at Kalona and Wellman Elementary Schools are also on the list.

Schneider adds the board is still unsure of a couple of projects, like a joint use facility with Kalona and a High School auditorium. The board will meet January 6th to finalize their plans for the bond issue.
