The Mid-Prairie wrestling team will open up its doors to host Bellevue and North Cedar tonight.

The Golden Hawks have run through their competition this season in duals, and look for a couple of more wins tonight.

Mid-Prairie will looks for the Peterschmidt brothers to roll, along with Mt. Vernon champion Duncan McCain, Miguel Sanchez, Cameron Tolander and Ben Fiordelise to put the pressure on the opponents, but head coach Justin Garvey said his team needs to stay focus and humble.

“We’ve seen North Cedar a lot of times in the past, and they have a well coached team, and they have some pretty good guys and a pretty full lineup, about the same as us, so there is going to be some key match-ups [tonight] and we’re just going to have to see where guys weigh in and see what happens, but our guys our going to have go up and battle all night to win that dual,” Garvey said. “We don’t really know anything about Bellevue, this is their second season I believe of having a wrestling program, so they are kind of young and inexperienced, but I’ve told the guys in the room all week, you can’t overlook anybody.”

Tonight’s meet is at Mid-Prairie and starts at 6:00 P.M.
