Temperatures are expected to drop to single digits and in the negatives beginning tomorrow. With these cold temperatures, Amber Talbot Director of PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington reminds people to take care of outdoor pets. She states that despite their fur, animals can get frost bite and cold. Talbot recommends straw for bedding, because a wet blanket can easily freeze and become hard. She advises that straw is the best bedding, Also, she recommends heated water bowls.
