Proceeds from a meal consisting of game and food found and grown in Louisa County will benefit two non-profit organizations. The $700 that was raised is going to the two groups that held the Wild Game Feed – Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation and Louisa County Izaak Walton League.

As for what those organizations do, Tri Rivers is currently raising funds for the Interpretive Center at Langwood Education Center, and they also provide scholarships to students in the county. And in the past, the county’s Izaak Walton League has built things like bridges and docks for conservation areas.
