A winter weather advisory is in effect for the area from 6 p.m. tonight to 6 p.m. tomorrow. Snow is expected to develop this afternoon with accumulations between 4 and 6 inches. Visibility may be as little as less than half a mile at times and hazardous travel conditions may occur.
Five inches of snow were recorded in Washington for the month of January and the lowest temperature of the month happened on January 7th when the thermometer read 17 degrees below zero. Listen to KCII for updated weather information.
