The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest federal disaster loans to small, nonfarm businesses in 70 Iowa counties and neighboring counties. These loans are to offset economic losses due to lower revenues because of the drought from August 27th to October 28th of 2013. Washington is considered a primary county, as is Henry, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, and Louisa (the complete county list is below). The Economic Injury Disaster Loans may be for up to $2 million.
