The application deadline for a stewardship program has been delayed so more producers may apply. The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service has extended the deadline for new enrollments in the Conservation Program for fiscal year 2014 to February 7th. Last year, Iowa NRCS covered more than 175,000 acres with 381 contracts for $3.8 million.
