Demon Girls Open Second Half Tonight

Going into the holiday break the Washington girls were on a four game winning streak. Tonight they start the second half push to finish the season the same way.

The Demon girl’s basketball team travels to Davis County tonight for an out-of-conference matchup. Washington is led by Grace Redlinger with 11.6 points per game, and Dema Giardino and Stephanie FIshback are both right behind her with nine points per game.

Washington is scoring 50 points per game, despite shooting under 30 percent from the floor and 21 percent from behind the arc.

Davis County is 4-2 this season, and is scoring 53.7 points per game. Davis County has two girls in Shelby Graves and Rylee Eakins, averaging 17 points per game Mallory Wells backs them up with 9.7 points per game and Kate Birchmier adds 8.3 to make a dangerous four.

Davis County has an 11.2 point difference over their opponent.

Tonight’s game is at Davis County with tipoff at 7:30.
