Golden Hawk Wrestling Takes Its First Loss

The Mid-Prairie wrestling team took their first loss on the season in last nights triangular.

The Golden Hawks fell 34-30 to North Cedar, and only had three wins in the match. Mid-Prairie got the only pin from Eesaa Baylor at 170 pounds.

The other wrestlers who won their match was Visouth Peterschmidt at 152 and Cameron Tolander at 160, both winning by decision.

In the other dual of the evening, the Golden Hawks dominated Bellevue 54-16. Mid-Prairie received pins from Visouth Peterscmidt at 152, Tolander at 160, Baylor at 170 and Levi Duwa at 195.

The Golden Hawks will wrestle West Liberty next. The meet is Wednesday at West Liberty.
