A group of students who aren’t old enough to drive have helped 25,000 people in another country. Lincoln Elementary’s LEGO team completed a challenge called “Nature’s Fury” where they had to do something to help people related to a natural disaster. Science Instructor Joe Pisarik who led the students explains that the team decided to help after a natural disaster hits by making water purifiers for people in Cuba who are facing a cholera epidemic. The group made enough systems to help 25,000 people with help from Hays Pure Water for All.
