The Mid-Prairie basketball teams are both coming off wins last night, and will get ready for another game tonight as they take on Bellevue.

The lady Golden Hawks got another double-double from Taylor Kurtz, and are starting to get into a groove with their second straight win. Kurtz is scoring 13 points per game, followed by Ali Riggan and Alex Rath scoring seven.

Bellevue is 5-3 overall and have a couple of big scorers at the top of their roster in Carly Rubel with 15 points per game and Ali Reeg with 12.5 points per game. Outside of those two players, Bellevue lacks depth.

On the boy’s side of things Dayton Hall and Nick Stimson are the guys the Golden Hawks lean on to get the main scoring done, but one of any six guys could be the leading scorer for Mid-Prairie in any game.

Bellevue has some scoring depth, the problem is they don’t score a lot of points. Tyler Banowetz leads the way with 9.8 points per game, followed by Colby Mangler with 7.6 and it falls from there. Bellevue is only scoring 38 points per game as a team and shooting 31 percent.
