The Mid-Prairie wrestling team will host Bellevue and North Cedar in a triangular tonight.

The meet is a rescheduled one from Dec. 19, and will be the first test for the undefeated Golden Hawks in 2014.

Head coach Justin Garvey says to win tonight his team has to win the easy matches, and compete in the hard ones.

“I started to do some research on Bellevue; I haven’t found a lot. They are a really young team, so I don’t really know what to expect from them, I just told my guys come out a wrestle like they always do and good things will happen if you wrestle hard for six minutes,” Garvey said. “With North Cedar, they have a team pretty similar to ours, and we talked about it a little bit this week already about how all of our guys are going to have to show up and we’re going to have to win the matches we’re supposed to, and we’re going to have to compete in, or win some of the matches we’re not supposed to.”

Mid-Prairie will host the meet tonight with the first match starting at 6 P.M.
