WMU Splits with Mediapolis

The Winfield- Mt. Union boys team defeated Mediapolis last night by 10.

The Wolves were in control of the game the entire time, leading 30-19 at the half. WMU extended their lead to has many as 20 at the start of the fourth quarter before Mepo tried to get back in it, but the Wolves hung on and won 57-47.

WMU got points from nine players, and was led by Garrett Baker with 18 and Jake Edwards with 16.

In the girls’ contest it was Mediapolis getting the win by a 56-25 score.
