The Wellman Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is holding its annual carnival this weekend. PTO Chair Melissa Kaufman says all of the games on Saturday will be free, as is the student raffle. She says the Parent Teacher Organization brings together parents and teachers to collaborate on school projects. She says resurfacing the school’s playground is one of their current initiatives. Some of the proceeds from the freewill meal, adult raffle and basket auction will benefit that project. The carnival begins at 5:30.
