After a resignation Monday, a seat is open on one of Kalona’s boards. According to Kalona City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh, they’re now looking for someone to fill that seat on the Tax Increment Financing Board. He says, preferably, it would be a male to keep the gender equity. It’s a three year term, and members of the board only meet when there’s a TIF application. Contact the city to learn more.
