Nearly $200,000 was awarded to the nine cities in Washington County this quarter by the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. Through the municipal grant program, the foundation distributes 25% of its total revenues directly to the cities in the county based on population. In 2013, more than $840,000 was awarded to the cities through this program. This quarter, the City of Washington received over $100,000.
