The Washington Fire Department’s Annual Pancake Day is tomorrow. Pancake Chairman Joe Redlinger says he’s hoping for a record crowd of 2,000 people, usually they feed about 1,600. To feed 2,000 people it takes many pounds of food, he states it takes about 1,500 pounds of sausage, 20 cases of pancake batter, 25 cases of eggs and about 90 gallons of milk.

Firefighters will be serving food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow to raise funds for equipment.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from members of the fire department, at the fire hall, Glandons Westside Service and Washington State Bank for $7 or at the door the day of for $8.
