This weekend, nine members of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra will perform a special concert in a church built in 1898.

Music Director Bob McConnell says they’ll play chamber music ranging from folk to pieces from Bach and Mozart at Clear Creek Church, outside of Harper. The concert will feature violins, oboes, a viola, bassoon, flute and a keyboard that sounds like a traditional piano. He adds that the family oriented concert will include information on those instruments and how some of the music is written. The concert begins tomorrow afternoon at 2.
