The Washington Demon girls basketball team has almost completed their sweet revenge.

Last night the girls beat Mt. Pleasant 52-46, and led the entire game. Tonight, they take on Ft. Madison for the final conference and regular season game.

The Demons had one stretch where they were off for nine days in a row, and it seems as though that may have been a bigger issue than anyone may have thought, as the Demons have beat two conference schools that they lost to at home, on the road.

Washington comes into tonight’s game on a three game winning streak. They are scoring 48 points per game, and hitting a third of their shots from the field. The Demons are led by Grace Redlinger with 13.2 points per game, Stephanie Fishback took over the No. 2 spot with 9.1 points per game, and Dema Giardino is in the three spot with 8.6 points per game.

Ft. Madison beat the Demons 54-49 the last time they played, but Washington seems to be reenergized since the last time. The Bloodhounds are scoring 49.5 points per game and hitting 38 percent of their shots from the field. LeStella Slack and Caitlin Marshall are the top scorers with 10 points per game, followed by Rachel Steffensmeier with nine points per game.
