The IMS boy’s basketball team kicks off the playoffs tonight when they travel down to New London to face New London.

IMS comes into the game off a huge win over Van Buren in the in SEISC shootout. They are 17-4 on the season and scoring 56.4 points per game. The big players for IMS are Dallas Nye with 14.6 points per game, and Reggie Hostetler with 12.5 points per game. Eli Gingerich had a scary situation in the game against Van Buren, but should be okay to help out in tonight’s game with his 8.8 points per game.

New London comes into the game at 6-15, but is hosting the pod of games, which is why despite IMS’s better record, they must travel to New London. The Tigers are scoring 48.5 points per game, and are led by Quincy Porter with 9.2 points per game. Although Porter is the leading scorer, there really is no one who runs away with the lead for the team. Cameron Watson comes in at 8.2 points per game, and both Tristan Kadel and Mitch Boles come in with over 7.5 points per game.

Tonight’s game is at New London with an 8 P.M. start time, and you can hear all of the action right here on KCIIradio.com under radio plus with pregame at at 7:30 and tip-off at 8.
