A documentary film focused on the development and people involved in the restoration of Lake Darling is currently in pre-production. Samuel Koltinsky already knows quite a lot about Jay N. Ding Darling and his legacy. He produced a documentary on that topic, which was released last year.

Doris Park, who is currently working on a bust of Ding Darling, contacted Koltinsky looking for photos of the conservationist. Koltinsky then traveled to Brighton, and he says after hearing more about the project and the private/public partnership that made it happen, he knew he had a story that needed to be told.

Footage shot for the documentary at the recent Lake Darling dam closing ceremony will soon be made available on his production company’s website, marvoentertainmentgroup.com.
