Around 200 students from 15 area schools will be competing in the South Sub-District FFA Leadership contest today. Lone Tree High School will host the competition, where the top few FFA members in each category will advance to the district contest to have a chance to qualify for state, and then nationals. Advisor of Lone Tree’s Future Farmers of America program, Bridget Mahoney, says participants will compete in categories such as public speaking, parliamentary procedure and ag sales.
