Work at Wellman’s wastewater plant is set to begin next month. At their meeting this week, the Wellman City Council reviewed bids for the project, and selected the Amana company WRH Incorporated’s bid of $690,500. The company will replace a few valves, an out of date piece of equipment that filters the town’s wastewater, and add a bypass channel. They’re expected to start the project in March and wrap it up by November.
