The Mid-Prairie girls play the second round of the playoffs tonight, and come fresh off of their 50-34 win over Central Lee last night.

The Golden Hawks face an insanely tough Mediapolis team that is 21-1.

Mid-Prairie is scoring 41.6 points per game, and look to run their offense through their leading scorer Taylor Kurtz, who has 12.8 points per game. Alex Rath comes in at 7.4, and then it is up to the bench to step up for the Golden Hawks.

MEPO is scoring 70 points per game, but did play schools that were one to two classes lower than them for 20 games, and lost their only game against a 4A opponent. Andrea Larson is the top scorer, hitting 67 percent of her shots from the floor and averaging 20.4 points per game. Darby Massner comes in at No. 2 with a 49 percent shot from the floor, 38.5 percent shot from downtown, and scoring 16.3 points per game.
