The Lake Darling dam setting ceremony is slated for next Wednesday. A handful of individuals who have a played a role in the lake’s restoration will hold the ceremony at Lake Darling State Park at 10am. Event Chair Fay Vittetoe says after they close the dam, experts will go over the purpose and benefits of the project at Brighton City Hall. The program begins at 11 and is open to the public. A reception will be held afterwards.
