Henry County’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, or RSVP, is receiving some financial help.06 It was recently announced around $15,000 from the state and $20,000 in federal money will be going to the program. Henry County Director Carol Dustman explains you have to be 55 years or older to volunteer through RSVP.  Dustman says their medical transport program is their most popular. It provides a ride to a medical appointment for those that are unable to drive. In the seven months since she’s taken over as director, Dustman has had 150 requests for transportation.
