The Mid-Prairie girls basketball team will play their first round of the playoffs tonight, after having Saturday’s game postponed.
The Golden Hawks come into the game at 10-9, and scoring 41.6 points per game, and making 38.5 percent of their shots from the floor and 30 percent from three-point range. The Golden Hawks will look to team leader Taylor Kurtz to have a big game with her 12.8 points per game. Alex Rath has stepped up as of late to fill in for the injured Ali Riggan, and will also need to have a solid game for Mid-Prairie to move on.

They have a pretty strong starting five, with Kelsey Bryant out front with 12.2 points per game, and Hayley Edwards in second with 10.5 points per game.
