Two Double-Doubles Get Columbus Past Holy Trinity

The Columbus Junction girls basketball team got the shootout win over Holy Trinity on Saturday.

The Wildcats outscored Holy Trinity big in the first half, leading 39-18 at halftime, on their way to a 63-47 win.

The Wildcats were led by the double-double of Martha Anaya who had 22 points and 10 assists. Those assists place her second all-time at Columbus for career assists. Kelsey Pretz also had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Columbus is in action again this week for the regional tournament.
