The Washington bowling team finished third in both the boys and girls competitions at their triangular this weekend.

The boys were led by Collin Zear with a 328 two game series, while the team combined for 1,908 pins. Keokuk won for the boys with 2,577, finishing just ahead of second place Fairfield with 2,540.

For the girls, the best bowler of the day was Brandi Hagans with a 271 two game series, but all of the girls who scored their games threw 260 or better. The team finished with 2,049 pins for third, just behind Fairfield who had 2,143, and the champion was Keokuk with 2,492.
