Third time is not the charm, or at least that is what the Demons are hoping as they host Fairfield for the third match-up between these two teams.

Washington starts regional play tonight, and the Demons are on a four game winning streak that has had them play in some of the toughest situations.

The Demons come into regional play tonight 14-7, and scoring 50.1 points per game. The real record Washington is looking at is their 2-0 record against the Trojans. The Demons opened up conference play with a 54-43 win over Fairfield, and then went to Fairfield and won 58-51. Washington is led by Grace Redlinger with 12.9 points per game, and followed by Dema Giardino with 8.6 and Stephanie Fishback with 8.5, but the bench for Washington has come to life as well, giving the Demons a lot of scoring depth.

Fairfield is 11-10 this season, and scoring 45.6 points per game. They have won and loss back to back games for the last 10 games, with their last one being a 41-38 loss to Ft. Madison. Sami Fritz is their leading scorer with 8.6 points per game, with Hanna Greiner and Mackenzie Flattery follow her up with 7.1.

These two teams have not seen each other since the start of the new year, but the Demons will have the home court advantage tonight.
