The Washington County Conservation Board will accept the receipt of signatures requesting the removal of County Conservation Director Steve Anderson at the board’s regular session meeting today. KCII reported on December 6th that Anderson had paid fines for two infractions – pursuing a white tail deer without a valid license, while hunting in Jefferson County with a tag valid only for Washington County and unlawful transportation of a white tail deer. Also, the Washington County Board of Supervisors acknowledged the termination of Park Ranger Bob Bellmer in a meeting last month, following the conservation board’s decision.
