In just 10 days Washington School District voters will decide on a bond referendum to help build a new auditorium. The referendum is for $1.1 million at 40 cents per $1,000 over sevent years. If the bond passes, the tax rate will be $14.45, still lower than the current rate. An informational meeting about the $7 million auditorium project will be held Thursday in the high school commons, where blueprints and renderings will be presented by the architects.

Also, absentee ballots are now available and can be requested in the auditor’s office or voters can vote early in person at the auditor’s office.
