A bullying data report was presented by School Administrative Manager Aaron Six at this week’s Washington School Board meeting. Six stated that overall numbers of cases have decreased. He explained that the school district, along with all of the Grant Wood AEA, uses the PowerSchool system to log incidents. With this system incidents are recorded and a student’s record follows them from building to building.

For the district’s total reports 73 reports were made in 2010-2011, 42 in 2011-2012, 52 in 2012-2013, and 37 so far this year with 27 separate events. Six added that parents and students can make online reports on the district’s website.
