The Washington Demons got one player on the all- southeast conference team.

Thomas Bump was the Demon selected for first team all-conference. He led the team in points with 110 in the conference season, had 28 assists, 13 steals and 27 rebounds.

Demon head coach Bryce Smeins says the junior can be that x-factor going into any game.

“[He] is a very talented young man, and I don’t know if he knows how talented he could be. He needs to have a great off season and work hard, he has a big body, great shooting range, and can handle the ball and really has a chance to be a difference maker in a basketball game,” Smeins said. “I don’t know what his college interests are, but he definitely has a college type body and college type game with continued improvement.”

The Demons also had five players make the all-academic team: Mason Quigley, Grant Marek, Gage Redlinger, Daryn Seibelius and Blake Weidman.

Washington finished the season 6-16.
