Flu Activity Decreases Across Iowa

Iowa’s flu activity has been downgraded from regional to local activity. Nine cases of seasonal influenza were confirmed this reporting period by the State Hygienic Laboratory. So far this season 608 cases have been confirmed, most of which were the 2009 H1N1 virus.

Oklahoma and Hawaii are the only states at this time with high activity levels. Click here for the complete report.
