Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar has announced that there will soon be changes with the drug task force. The current Washington/Louisa County Task Force will continue until June 30th of this year. After that time, Washington and Louisa counties will separate, this is due in part to funding cuts. Washington County has been approved by the Johnson County Task Force to merg together on July 1st.

Dunbar adds that it is his understanding that Louisa County will be merging with Muscatine’s task force.
