Friday an appeal was heard and a panel of three unanimously decided that the Goncho Apartment building is dangerous. Five apartments and common areas tested positive for methamphetamine. Building and Zoning Administrator Steve Donnolly presented his report, which included a timeline of communication since the meth lab was found in December of 2012. Clean up is estimated to cost $25,680. JARS Enterprises, the owners of the building, will have 30 days to mitigate the problem upon receiving formal notice of the panel’s decision.
