Dr. Mike Jorgensen, Washington’s Superintendent, has announced that a new head football coach and strength and conditioning coach has been hired. Garrison Carter, former head coach and At-Risk teacher at Ogden, has accepted the position. He will also work as a behavioral interventionist at Lincoln Elementary. At Ogden, Garrison was head coach for two seasons, where he led the team to the playoffs both years. Coach Carter will be meeting with the Demon football team next week .

Garrison formerly spent time as the wide receiver coach at Dordt College and was a two year letter winner as a wide receiver at Simpson College. He graduated from Centerville High School.
