A 24-year-old Keota man was charged with Operating While Intoxicated – first offense after the vehicle he was operating rolled multiple times and came to rest on its top at 2 a.m. Saturday morning. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Trevor Levi Morse was traveling eastbound on Highway 1 and 78, about a mile east of the Keokuk County line, at a high rate of speed when he lost control, entered the south ditch, ramped over a farm drive and rolled several times. Morse was transported by ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospitals for non-incapacitating injuries.

Morse was charged with OWI, failure to maintain control and careless driving.
