A local award winning dance team will work with kids in pre-school through 8th grade today. Following the day long dance camp, the Mid-Prairie dancers and their students will present some of their dances. The 2nd Annual Dance Team Night begins at 6pm in the high school gym.

The group took two dances to the Iowa State Dance Team competition in December. They placed 3rd in the pom category and 5th place for their kick routine. They also received the Distinguished Academic award for their cumulative 3.7 grade point average.
