A Mid-Prairie High School student will join others from around Iowa at the All State speech festival later this month. Members of school’s speech team attended the State contest at North Scott High School in Eldridge, where 10 of the 14 individual entries were given the highest rating possible.  One of those individuals, Ciana Carr, will receive All State honors at the Individual Events All State Festival at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls next Monday. She has also been asked to perform her prose.
