A man who appeared to be sleeping in his vehicle in Henry County was arrested Wednesday for manufacturing methamphetamine. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to the vehicle on Marsh Avenue near Highway 34 around 6:40 in the morning and found signs of a mobile methamphetamine lab inside.

The area was quarantined for two hours due to the hazards associated with meth labs, and following the full investigation, 30-year-old Eric Novak of Mount Pleasant was arrested. Novak is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a class b felony, and 2nd degree OWI, an aggravated misdemeanor.
