Work is underway on the front facade of the State Theater in Washington. Sarah Sadrakula, Director of Main Street Washington, states that work has been completed on the East, South and West sides. She explains crews are working on repairing the windows, fixing the marquee, new entry doors and windows near the concession stand.

Sadrakula states the process has taken some time because Fridley Theaters has been working with the State Historical Preservation Office to get state and federal tax credits. She adds the goal end date is June 1st, before the 175th celebration.
